PwC UK and Clearspeed Inc. announce alliance to combat fraud

Partnerships

This alliance will enable PwC UK to help its clients enhance the customer experience by speeding up claims, applications, and processes while more efficiently and effectively managing fraud risk across their operations.

By working with Clearspeed, PwC UK will help empower organisations dealing with high volumes of customer interactions where there may be fraud exposure, such as in the insurance, banking, and public sectors, to successfully process a significantly higher proportion of cases more quickly and without any further human intervention.

Harry Holdstock, partner at PwC UK, said: “Fraud is a major concern in the UK, accounting for over 40% of all reported crimes. We are pleased to see the UK Government’s new Fraud Strategy, which focuses on tackling scams and bringing fraudsters to justice. We are excited to work with Clearspeed to help our clients enhance the customer experience and fight fraud.”

Alex Martin, CEO of Clearspeed, said: “We are excited to partner with PwC UK to address fraud across industries. With rising fraud rates and evolving approaches, traditional technologies struggle to keep up. By leveraging AI, ML, and next-gen voice analytics, we will revolutionise risk assessment, empowering businesses to stay ahead of threats and protect customers in a complex world.”

This alliance is a significant development in the fight against fraud. Combining PwC UK’s expertise in fraud detection and prevention with Clearspeed’s innovative voice analytics technology, the two companies can help organisations of all sizes reduce their fraud risk and protect their customers.
