Miller partners with Whitespace Platform to enhance data-driven trading capabilities

Partnership strategy

As part of the agreement, Miller will begin utilising the Whitespace Platform within its Casualty team from June 1, 2023.

The decision to join Whitespace reflects Miller’s acknowledgement of the potential benefits of integrating the platform into the London and global insurance markets. Many broking firms increasingly embrace Whitespace as a user-friendly solution for effectively creating and capturing placement data, enhancing client outcomes.

Marcus Broome, chief platform officer of Whitespace, expressed satisfaction with Miller’s decision, stating: “We are delighted that Miller recognises the advantages and efficiencies of conducting business through the Whitespace Platform.”

Gordon Bathurst, head of digital broking at Miller, emphasised the significance of the collaboration: “This first step on Whitespace with our casualty team will enable us to prioritise data in our trading activities,” he explains.

Miller takes pride in its placement capability and innovative approaches and partnering with Whitespace and believes this will allow the company to leverage cutting-edge technology, providing a more efficient experience for clients and market participants.

As Whitespace continues to expand, its fully pure data, API-connected marketplace is gaining traction among firms. The successful collaboration between Whitespace and Miller’s MGA sister entity, Casper, further demonstrates the platform’s appeal. The partnership with Miller reinforces Whitespace’s position as a driver of transformative change within the insurance industry.
