Chubb expands tech innovation in Greece with George N. Nikolaou at the helm

Nikolaou’s appointment reflects Chubb’s commitment to expanding its technological capabilities and strengthening its regional presence.

In his new role, George N. Nikolaou will oversee Chubb’s technology centre, established in late 2022, to foster innovation. The centre is dedicated to developing advanced technologies to improve the customer experience, streamline operations, and advance the company’s digital transformation.

With over two decades of experience in finance and technology innovation in both Greece and the United States, Nikolaou brings a wealth of expertise to Chubb. His appointment marks a significant milestone in Chubb’s growth strategy in Greece.

Chubb’s presence in Greece has grown, with over 100 technical engineers and developers currently working on intelligent process automation, machine learning, cloud computing, data analytics, cybersecurity, and infrastructure modernisation projects.

Earlier this year, Chubb introduced its Technology Associates Program, designed to nurture the skills and careers of young professionals during a two-year training programme. Additionally, the company launched the Women in Tech programme in Greece, promoting diversity and supporting young women entering the technology sector.
