Origami Risk acquires Dais Technology, expanding its P&C insurance solutions

Future transformation

The acquisition will expand Origami’s property and casualty (P&C) insurance solutions for managing general agents (MGAs), insurers, and reinsurers.

Dais’ no-code platform enables users to create and manage insurance products without writing any code. This can help businesses to accelerate product development and launch new products more quickly. The platform also offers a variety of features for streamlining policy handling, sales, and service.

Origami’s SaaS platform provides a comprehensive suite of solutions for policy administration, rating, billing, loss control, claims administration, reporting, and analytics. The platform facilitates a digital engagement experience for all internal and external stakeholders.

“Dais complements our core P&C insurance solutions with no-code, storefront, and rating-as-a-service capabilities,” said Bob Petrie, CEO of Origami Risk. “This acquisition will allow the Dais team to double down on their technology and industry partnerships to bring more value to all insurance ecosystem participants. We are pleased to welcome their talented team to Origami and look forward to an integration that will bring more opportunities to our clients, our people and new growth areas for our firm.”

Combining Origami and Dais will provide customers with a more comprehensive and innovative suite of P&C insurance solutions. The acquisition will allow Origami to expand its market reach and client support capabilities.
