digital transformation

This embedded insurance platform allows business partners to integrate insurance solutions into their customer journey. These business partners can include banks, financial institutions, retailers, healthcare providers, and utility companies.

MetLife Xcelerator provides distribution partners a new way to enhance customer value and generate additional revenue. By integrating insurance into their core offerings, partners can provide a comprehensive solution that meets customers’ financial and protection needs with a seamless purchasing experience. Additionally, partners can leverage MetLife’s global expertise and trusted reputation in the region.

“MetLife Xcelerator offers fast and easy access to simple and safe insurance protection and saving solutions,” said Eric Clurfain, regional president of MetLife Latin America. “It combines artificial intelligence and other disruptive technologies to enable our partners to offer their customers a simple, frictionless, and fully digital insurance experience.”

MetLife Xcelerator represents a significant milestone in MetLife’s digital evolution, combining 155 years of global experience with the innovation capabilities of Klimber, a leading insurtech in Latin America focused on developing embedded digital insurance ecosystems.

“We found the ideal strategic partner in MetLife, which complements our desire to continue innovating with new technologies and co-create simple, secure access to insurance solutions,” said Julián Bersano, CEO and founder of Klimber.

“Innovation isn’t just about creating new products and services,” said Giovanni Genovesi, CIO of Latin America. “It’s about transforming how customers interact with us and meeting them where they are. We’re excited about the opportunities MetLife Xcelerator offers to co-create and innovate at scale, seamlessly providing access and delivering our insurance solutions to more customers around Latin America.”
