Berlin insurtech startup SureIn raises €4m seed funding to close SMB insurance gap

investment

Pact VC led the round, including the German VC fund xDeck and renowned business angels such as Warrick Shanly, Robin Haak, and Vincenz Klemm.

SureIn provides end-to-end insurance solutions to SMBs across Europe. The company’s platform is designed to be user-friendly and easy to use, and it offers a wide range of insurance products to meet the needs of different businesses.

SureIn also has an automated risk monitoring system that keeps policies up-to-date and ensures SMBs have the right coverage. This is important because the needs of SMBs can change frequently, and they often need more time or expertise to manage their insurance.

Daniel Dierkes, CEO and co-founder of SureIn, said: “We are on a mission to make insurance more accessible and affordable for SMBs. Our platform gives businesses the tools to understand risks and choose the right insurance products.”

Monik Pham, founding partner at Pact VC, said: “The SMB insurance market is a huge opportunity, but it is also very fragmented. SureIn is well-positioned to capitalize on this opportunity by providing a single platform that meets the needs of SMBs across Europe.”

SureIn is already working with businesses in various industries, including hospitality, retail, beauty and wellness, and services. The company plans to use the funding to expand its team and product offerings and to enter new markets.

The SMB insurance market is estimated to be worth over €200bn in Europe. SureIn is well-positioned to capture a significant share of this market by providing a user-friendly and comprehensive platform that meets the needs of SMBs.
