The updated platform includes new features and functionality designed to improve the performance and efficiency of underwriting and catastrophe management workflows for its clients.

One of the key enhancements to GC AdvantagePoint is the introduction of the Event Impact Module. This module provides users with timely notifications of events that could impact their portfolios, enabling them to take steps to mitigate risk and respond more effectively to catastrophes. The module also includes a range of tools for analysing historical events and assessing the potential impact of future events.

Another key enhancement is the Underwriter+ Module. This module provides underwriters with the information they need to make informed underwriting decisions. It includes access to catastrophe-modelled loss data from multiple providers and tools for analysing risk and identifying opportunities for profitable underwriting.

Dan Becker, CEO of global strategic advisory at Guy Carpenter, commented on the launch of the enhanced GC AdvantagePoint: “In a constantly evolving risk landscape, this latest update will be a valuable tool for companies seeking to make sound risk decisions and manage catastrophe exposure more effectively. This dynamic tool brings advanced technology, deeper insights, and increased efficiency to carriers looking to modernize their approach to catastrophe risk management.”

The launch of the new GC AdvantagePoint platform reinforces Guy Carpenter’s commitment to delivering innovative solutions to help clients navigate the complexities of the risk landscape and make informed decisions.
