The IDC MarketScape evaluated nine vendors’ capabilities and business strategies through rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis. Send was named a Leader in the 2023 vendor assessment for its comprehensive and innovative underwriting workbench solution, designed to help insurers streamline operations and drive better results.

The report cited Send’s key strengths: its deep domain expertise and innovation, comprehensive data integration capabilities, learning-oriented approach, and financial stability and growth. It also highlighted the company’s clear vision for the industry and its awareness of market trends.

“We’re proud to be named a Leader in this IDC MarketScape report,” said Andy Moss, co-founder and CEO of Send. “As a business, we have one mission: transforming commercial insurance. Every component and feature we’ve developed for our Underwriting Workbench reflects a deep knowledge and understanding of the art of underwriting and consideration for how we can apply a scientific approach to help insurers streamline operations and drive better results.”

Send Underwriting Workbench is a SaaS platform that helps carriers automate and streamline their underwriting operations. It provides a single view of data and documentation, and advanced automation eliminates rekeying and enriches data, assisting underwriters to focus on the work they love.

IDC congratulates Send on being named a Leader in this year’s vendor assessment,” said Davide Palanza, global head of Insurance Insights Research Practice, IDC Europe. “We are impressed by their user-friendly and configurable underwriting solution, designed by a team that understands the market and customer pain points. Send is committed to elevating user experience by automating and streamlining underwriting tasks. Everything is designed with commercial and speciality underwriters in mind.”
